For Valentine’s Day my husband ordered Tony Horton Kitchen meals instead of getting me a sugary box of chocolates. I couldn’t have been more delighted. For one, I wouldn’t have to cook for a few days. Not that I don’t like to cook, but sometimes it’s nice to have a break especially when you know the food is all organic (even though we don’t normally eat all organic), AND I didn’t have to make it!
Tony Horton Kitchen Gives You Choices
Tony Horton Kitchen offers fresh organic meals that have no sugar and are low in salt. You can purchase Vegan meals, which are all plant based, Vegetarian meals, which may include egg whites, or Flexitarian meals, which can have wild caught fish, free range chicken and grass fed beef. The Flexitarian menu will include one fish, chicken, or meat item per day. You can choose 5 days or 7 days, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Orders must be in by Monday at noon in order to receive them by that Friday. The chefs look at the seasonal produce and put together the menu for that week. They have many different menu choices, which are listed on the Tony Horton Kitchen website, that the chefs prepare, rotate and add to. It all depends on what the farmers have and what’s in season. They then prepare the meals by Thursday and ship them out for you to receive on Friday right to your door.
Here is the first video of us just getting the box, so you can see how it shows up and how it’s packaged.
I was very impressed at how cold the package was when it arrived. It had several ice packs within the insulated bag, and all the meals were very cold. So far so good!
