Easy Soup Recipes
Saute your vegetables

Eating healthier is on many people’s minds these days. As winter approaches, eating healthier with easy soup recipes are a must.

The other day we had a cold spell and it made me want to come home and make soup. However, I didn’t really have much in the house to make soup with, but I didn’t let that stop me.

I grew up thinking that soup took all day to make. My mom would get out the big pot, fill it with water and then add stuff to it. It usually came out good except that she didn’t use salt, so it was in need of salt. She did use lots of other herbs and spices, but you need some salt. She would then cook the soup for hours and eventually we’d have great winter soup!

Well, then you know how I felt on this particular day. So, I come home to find I don’t even have an onion! How could I run out of onions? Luckily I have neighbors who have onions!! Hooray for them! And me of course!
